Basil Bread with Basil Pesto

Ingredients:

  • 1 jar Perfect Choice Basil Pesto 
  • 4 cups flour 
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 tsp powdered yeast 
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp sugar 
  • 2 tbsp salt
  • 2 tbsp melted butter 
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Preparation:

Mix the powdered yeast and warm water together. .Let it rest for 5 to 10 minutes.  Add the milk, sugar, salt, flour, and the melted butter to the yeast. Mix together until it forms a dough.  Shape the dough into a ball and drizzle olive oil on top. Let it sit for an hour until it doubles in size. Using a rolling pin, roll the dough out to a circle and add a jar of Perfect Choice Basil Pesto.  Place the dough in a baking mold and let it rest for 30 minutes. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes at 355°F (180°C).
