Tomato Focaccia and Artichoke Halves

Ingredients:

  • 1 jar Perfect Choice Grilled Artichoke Halves
  • 5 ½ cups flour
  • 1 tbsp yeast
  • 15 oz warm water
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 4 oz olive oil
  • 10 tomatoes

Preparation:

In a large bowl, mix the flour, yeast, salt, and sugar. Create a well in the middle of the flour and pour the olive oil and water into the well. Mix well using a spoon and/or your hands until thoroughly mixed. If need be, add more water and/or flour. Work the dough with your hands for around 15 minutes. Form the dough into a ball and let it rise for an hour. Cover with a kitchen cloth. Next spread the dough onto a rectangular tray, and let it rise for another hour. Sprinkle some olive oil on the surface and poke holes with your fingers. Add the tomatoes, the grilled artichoke halves, and salt. Bake for 15 minutes at 374°F (190°C). Remove from the oven and enjoy!
